The Food Runner plays a crucial part in our service operations by delivering food to diners accurately and efficiently. The position requires keen attention to detail, as Food Runners are the final staff to handle a meal before it reaches the customer. It is imperative that they understand what each dish should look like, which helps prevent errors and guarantees customer satisfaction. Maintaining the integrity of the meal by transporting it carefully and serving it while at optimal temperature is an important responsibility. This role demands quick thinking and flexibility, as Food Runners must respond to the fast-paced environment of the restaurant and adapt to changing circumstances, such as shift variations and increased customer volume.

Besides food delivery, the Food Runner also supports the restaurant by greeting guests warmly, assisting with menu explanations, and ensuring tables are clean and reset promptly for new customers. They uphold food safety and sanitation standards rigorously, work closely with other staff to address any customer concerns quickly, and help maintain overall cleanliness and order within the dining area.
