The Cleburne Railroaders are a professional baseball team based in Cleburne, Texas, competing in the independent American Association of Professional Baseball. The Expo Runner position at the Cleburne Railroaders is an integral role within the team’s food and beverage service operations. Expo Runners are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage items to suites, the club, and catering areas throughout the stadium. Working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, Expo Runners uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service, ensuring an outstanding experience for every guest. The role demands attention to detail as Expo Runners verify orders against suite receipts and contracts, assist suite attendants and caterers with maintaining cleanliness, and complete opening and closing duties as assigned. The position requires a motivated, service-driven individual who thrives in a team-oriented setting and is dedicated to enhancing hospitality during the Railroaders’ season.

This role is particularly suited for individuals who enjoy working in lively environments and interacting with guests to deliver excellent service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential due to the nature of the team’s event schedule. The position also demands physical endurance, including frequent standing, bending, carrying, walking, and the ability to lift at least 35 pounds. A valid Food Handler’s Permit is required, and candidates must be at least 15 years of age. Current and valid Food Handler’s Permit required
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Punctual and responsible
Capable of physical tasks including standing, bending, stooping, carrying, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting at least 35 lbs
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Ensure food prepared by the kitchen matches the food ordered on the suite receipt and group picnic contracts
Assist suite attendants and caterers as needed with maintaining the cleanliness and delivery of food for all suite, group picnic, and catering locations
Responsible for the completion of opening and closing duties assigned by the suites and picnic supervisor
Deliver food and beverage orders promptly to designated locations
Maintain excellent communication with kitchen staff and service teams to coordinate timely service
Uphold high standards of food presentation and guest service in a fast-paced environment
Other duties as assigned
