Job Duties

  • Ensure efficient flow of orders from front of house to kitchen
  • Ensure orders are completed on time and with correct priority
  • Inspect cleanliness, presentation, and temperature of completed dishes
  • Perform finishing touches such as adding garnishes
  • Deliver orders to maintain fast service
  • Eliminate obstacles in service including food preparation lines and dishwashing
  • Inform waitstaff about dish or ingredient availability and specific food requests
  • Inspect premises for quality and sanitation standards and assist with cleaning
  • Transfer important information between management, kitchen, and front of house staff
  • Execute other support tasks as needed
