Job Duties

  • Ensure orders are completed on time and with correct priority
  • Inspect the cleanliness, presentation, and temperature of completed dishes
  • Perform finishing touches such as adding garnishes
  • Deliver orders to maintain fast service
  • Eliminate obstacles in service including food preparation lines or dishwashing
  • Inform waitstaff about dish or ingredient shortages and emphasize special requests
  • Inspect premises for quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
  • Transfer important information between management, kitchen, and front of house staff
  • Execute other support tasks as needed
