Job Requirements

  • willingness to work non-traditional event hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to travel domestically approximately 20-45% of the time
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for 8 or more hours at a time
  • flexibility to work in a hybrid office environment, primarily in Cary or Charlotte, NC
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience in event production or experiential marketing
  • expertise in event operations and logistics including conferences, tradeshows, B2B events
  • strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute event and experiential marketing programs
  • act as lead producer in collaboration with Events Team
  • coordinate communication among multiple collaborators to implement creative ideas
  • source and negotiate with vendors for audiovisual, furniture, signage, stage, and other event production needs
  • manage on-site event staffing and activation
  • oversee production budgets including expense tracking and forecasting
  • host client and inter-agency planning calls
  • lead brainstorms and thought leadership initiatives
  • manage domestic travel requirements for event execution
