We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The role of the Server is central to our operations, as these professionals are the face of our dining experience. The Server will be responsible for greeting and seating guests with warmth and professionalism, taking precise food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system, and providing menu recommendations to enrich the dining experience. In addition to delivering the food and beverages promptly, the Server continuously monitors guest satisfaction, ensuring that every need is addressed swiftly and courteously. Cash handling duties include managing transactions accurately and issuing receipts in a timely manner. Maintaining the dining environment's cleanliness, resetting tables for new guests, and ensuring compliance with strict food handling and safety standards are also critical aspects of this role.
Collaboration with kitchen staff is essential to ensure smooth service flow and quick resolution of any guest concerns. Additionally, experienced Servers may contribute to the training of new staff, helping uphold our service standards and operational procedures. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and offers competitive wages ranged from $21.11 to $23.21 per hour, depending on experience and shift. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a serving role is preferred
- Ability to use point-of-sale systems like Aloha POS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and food safety practices
- Experience with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus
- Strong guest relations skills with an ability to create memorable dining experiences through attentive service
- Culinary knowledge or background is advantageous for providing informed menu suggestions
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while checking on their satisfaction throughout their meal
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures
