Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience working as a server in fine dining or hospitality sectors
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform demanding tasks
- Basic math proficiency
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a server in a food service or restaurant environment, especially within fine dining or nightlife venues
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest needs professionally
- Culinary experience or background in food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Experience with bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or supporting kitchen operations is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of the food industry trends related to hospitality, guest services, and food preparation
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend wine pairings, and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or fine dining setting
