Valle, a Guadalupe Valley Kitchen, is an award-winning Michelin Star restaurant helmed by the renowned Chef Roberto Alcocer. We are currently seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join the dedicated culinary team at Valle. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-caliber culinary environment, known for its Michelin Star standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pastry cooking, preferably with Michelin Star experience, and possess a keen ability to maintain the high standards of consistency and quality that define Valle's pastry offerings. The role includes preparing all pastry products following Valle's rigorous standards, supporting higher-level culinary leaders, and contributing to the overall success and smooth operation of the pastry section. This is a role for a motivated and detail-oriented culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation restaurant setting.
The position offers competitive hourly pay, ranging from $21.50 to $26.00 per hour, with the final rate depending on the candidate's experience and educational background. Job Requirements
- must have three years of experience as a pastry cook in a fine dining restaurant
- Michelin Star experience preferred
- ability to work single station in kitchen
- ability to stand for long periods
