Job Duties
- Set-up cook stations and stock them with the necessary prep supplies
- prep food on the line, as needed, by cutting, mixing, chopping, and making sauces
- cook items on the line by grilling, frying, chopping, and baking to quality guidelines and standardized recipes
- maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards like creating and following a restaurant cleaning checklist that comply with state and local food safety and sanitation regulations
- handle and store food safely and properly
- ability to work on Saturday, stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines
- maintain a clean work station
- maintain a positive working relationship and treat all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
- adhere to all policies and procedures
