Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant
  • knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • basic math skills
  • familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant
  • knowledge of wine is preferred
  • familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is advantageous
  • strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests
  • proven sales skills to promote menu items effectively
  • knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • basic math skills for handling payments and providing accurate change
  • a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations based on guest preferences
  • take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
  • monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly
  • process payments efficiently through cash handling and cashiering duties
  • maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
