Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in cooking roles
  • Valid food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
  • Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with health regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, catering, or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Dependable, organized, and professional
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals for regular service, meetings, and special events
  • Plan menus in coordination with leadership and budget guidelines
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to all health and safety standards
  • Manage food inventory, purchasing, and cost control
  • Ensure timely and efficient food service
  • Accommodate basic dietary needs when required
