Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in cooking roles
- Valid food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with health regulations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, catering, or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Dependable, organized, and professional
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
- Food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals for regular service, meetings, and special events
- Plan menus in coordination with leadership and budget guidelines
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to all health and safety standards
- Manage food inventory, purchasing, and cost control
- Ensure timely and efficient food service
- Accommodate basic dietary needs when required
