Job Requirements

  • Alcohol Server Permit is required to serve alcohol and must be obtained within first 60 days of employment

  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, push and stretch

  • Must have clear vision for distances up to 25 feet
  • Must have good finger dexterity for prep work and writing
  • Must be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision
  • Certified in Serving Alcohol with Care or other like ABC training certification and has a valid ABC card and maintains same during employment
  • Promptly greet guests at bar and tables, offer food menu, inform them of the drink specials
  • Obtain the order and give to the kitchen for food preparation or mix drink as ordered, deliver order
  • Return to table periodically to make sure all needs are met, offer dessert
  • Verifying customer identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol consumption
  • Present the check. When payment is offered, return change and receipt to guest
  • Remove dirty dishes and linen as needed. Reset tables with clean china, linen, silver, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper
  • Basic knowledge of menu prices and composition
  • Requires familiarity of daily specials
  • Empty, clean and refill items as your side work duties describe
  • Maintain a clean uniform and person
  • Knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures
  • Keep confidential the business functions of the company including financial status, customer/guest information, employees issues
  • Use pour measuring shot cup to ensure all drinks contain the proper amount of alcohol
  • Immediately inform the Manager on Duty of any guest issues
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and Holidays
  • Quickly respond to all guest requests
