Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of similar or equivalent experience in catering
  • willingness to work day, night, and weekend shifts
  • knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • physical stamina to stand and move for long periods
  • clean uniform and punctuality
  • knowledge of proper hygiene and sanitation practices
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment such as steamer, griddle, fryer, and ovens

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate
  • serv-safe certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of advanced cooking experience in restaurant, hotel, resort, or club
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work hands-on in any kitchen position
  • knowledge of current culinary and dining trends
  • ability to follow instructions from executive chef
  • organizational skills and attention to detail
  • problem-solving abilities
  • team player with ability to work independently

Job Duties

  • assist sous chef with game day kitchen operations
  • cater food and beverage for special events
  • maintain clean and organized kitchen
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • prepare food using advanced cooking techniques such as braising, sautéing, roasting, and grilling
  • lead staff through various service types including a la carte and buffet
  • manage inventory and control production within budget guidelines
