Job Description
POUT is a renowned beauty and spa establishment dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through its comprehensive range of services and products. The company prides itself on a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and cared for, setting a high standard in the beauty and wellness industry. As a spa and retail operation, POUT combines luxury treatments with premium beauty products, creating a unique boutique experience for each guest. Their team-driven approach allows for a personalized interaction that makes every visit memorable, distinguishing POUT as a leader in guest service excellence.
The role of an Experience Host at POUT is integral to maintaining this superior level of customer service. These hosts act as spa guest-service assistants, sales professionals, retail operations aides, and the voice of the company. They book appointments, engage warmly with both new and returning guests, manage rebooking appointments accurately, and maintain critical data such as new guest information and tip logs. Beyond administrative tasks, Experience Hosts are trained extensively in all product lines and brand offerings. This training empowers them to effectively sell products, assist guests with shade-matching, and ensure that the retail environment meets stringent standards for beauty and cleanliness. They are responsible for stocking products, taking inventory, and keeping displays appealing and pristine.
Experience Hosts also serve as the primary communication link between the guest and POUT. They handle incoming phone calls and are often the last point of contact during checkout, ensuring the final moments of the guest experience are exceptional. This multifaceted position offers invaluable insight into how a high-end retail spa operates with a significant role in the day-to-day running of the business. Employment is typically part-time with specific scheduling requirements including working 2-3 Saturdays per month and key seasonal dates such as Black Friday and the busy holiday season in December.
The role demands a detail-oriented, organized individual who is comfortable with technology such as iPads and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A passion for customer service and a coachable attitude supportive of ongoing learning and growth are critical. While prior experience in retail, cosmetics, or spa settings is preferred, especially makeup artistry or high-volume sales, it is not mandatory. POUT values candidates who love animals, particularly dogs, reflecting the company culture’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Join POUT as an Experience Host and become a vital part of a vibrant team dedicated to beauty, wellness, and outstanding service while enjoying competitive wages, potential bonuses, and a suite of benefits designed to support your personal and professional growth within the company.
