As an Expeditor, you will be responsible for coordinating order flow between the kitchen and serving staff. A key part of your role includes inspecting each plate for proper garnishing and cleanliness, confirming that meals are plated according to Hofbrauhaus standards before they leave the kitchen. Once the food is prepared, you will make sure servers and food runners deliver the dishes quickly so that the guests receive their meals warm and fresh. Job Requirements
- Must have a solid work history with 1+ years at previous employers
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
- Must be able to maneuver large bulky racks of product
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands
- Must have a positive safe work ethic and be reliable
- Must uphold the companys core values
- Required to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and perform frequent to constant handling activities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months experience in the industry preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Passion for cooking with attention to freshness, quality, and cleanliness
- Desire to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to presentation and detail
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Job Duties
- Communicate orders and information between front of house and back of house
- Ensure orders are cooked in a timely fashion
- Coordinate that all orders for a table are ready at the same time
- Check that plates are dressed and garnished correctly and free from smudges or spills
- Confirm servers and food runners run food to tables while warm and ready
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the cooking line
- Perform additional duties as assigned
