Job Requirements

  • Previous experience of at least 1 year as a food runner or expediter
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team
  • Capacity to work under stress and maintain accuracy
  • Strong commitment to customer service and quick, efficient food delivery
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a food runner, expediter, or in a fast-paced restaurant/kitchen setting preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a passion for great food and service
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Communicate efficiently with chefs, servers, and other team members to keep service running smoothly
  • Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure food is delivered promptly and correctly
  • Garnish and finalize plated dishes before they leave the kitchen
  • Ensure orders are complete, correct, and meet presentation standards
  • Assist with stocking and maintaining an organized expo line
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area
  • Handle special requests and dietary accommodations with attention to detail
  • Assist the back/front of house with any prep work and/or side work needed for the day
