Job Requirements
- Previous experience of at least 1 year as a food runner or expediter
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team
- Capacity to work under stress and maintain accuracy
- Strong commitment to customer service and quick, efficient food delivery
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a food runner, expediter, or in a fast-paced restaurant/kitchen setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a passion for great food and service
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Communicate efficiently with chefs, servers, and other team members to keep service running smoothly
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure food is delivered promptly and correctly
- Garnish and finalize plated dishes before they leave the kitchen
- Ensure orders are complete, correct, and meet presentation standards
- Assist with stocking and maintaining an organized expo line
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area
- Handle special requests and dietary accommodations with attention to detail
- Assist the back/front of house with any prep work and/or side work needed for the day
