Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in pastry and bakery management
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation

  • Proven experience as an executive sous chef or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Expertise in pastry and bake shop operations

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the planning, preparation, production and control of all pastry and bake shop operations
  • Ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability
  • Lead and manage the culinary team in pastry sections
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitor quality and productivity levels
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations
