Job Requirements

  • 4 years experience in a fine dining high volume kitchen
  • at least 1 year of leadership experience
  • culinary degree preferred
  • pastry experience preferred
  • knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols
  • working knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
  • ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • stamina to work over 40 hours per week
  • willingness to relocate to local market with Mina Group restaurants

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree preferred
  • minimum of 4 years experience in a fine dining, high volume kitchen
  • at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • advanced knowledge of kitchen fundamentals including knife skills, butchery, sauces, and fabrication
  • knowledge of financial reporting and data analysis
  • expertise in food safety and hygiene protocols
  • familiarity with HR practices and labor laws
  • ability to mentor and develop staff
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to adapt quickly to new environments
  • Spanish language skills a plus

Job Duties

  • assist with culinary leadership coverage at restaurants experiencing management shortage or transition
  • coordinate, supervise, train, and assist in operational areas during new restaurant openings
  • support operations at existing Mina Group restaurants
  • mentor kitchen staff and lead culinary operations
  • collaborate with executive chefs and corporate culinary teams
  • manage inventory control and labor costs
  • ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols
