The role of Executive Sous Chef at ISS Guckenheimer is a key leadership position within this esteemed organization. As the Executive Sous Chef, you will act as the brand ambassador for Guckenheimer, not only managing your culinary team but also serving as a representative to your client. You will be instrumental in implementing health department, state, and federal regulations, particularly following HACCP guidelines to maintain food safety and prevent foodborne illnesses.

This position is full-time with scheduled hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $32.00 to $34.25. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience and have significant culinary expertise in a high-volume food service setting. Experience with pastry and sushi is considered a valuable asset, as is knowledge of food merchandising and marketing techniques. Strong communication skills are critical, allowing you to effectively engage with customers, clients, and employees, responding to feedback and enhancing service delivery.

Physically, the role requires stamina to work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day, the ability to lift at least 25 pounds, and the capacity to perform under pressure during peak periods. Adherence to ISS Guckenheimer's dress code and compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies are mandatory. Job Qualifications

  • effective communication and presentation skills to customers, clients, and employees
  • pastry and sushi experience
