Job Requirements
- Culinary arts degree preferred
- experience working in a high-volume food service establishment
- ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs
- ability to work up to 8 hours a day on feet excluding breaks
- ability to work under pressure and meet time deadlines during peak periods
- follow dress code requirements
- adherence to HSEQ policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Culinary arts degree preferred
- culinary experience in a similar volume food service establishment
- food service training with experience in food preparation techniques according to HACCP processes and recommendations
- understands restaurant merchandising and marketing for service preparation and presentation
- effective communication and presentation skills to customers, clients, and employees
- pastry and sushi experience
Job Duties
- Oversee the purchasing, preparation, and execution of high-quality, cost-effective food service
- hire, train, and schedule staff
- participate in corporate training and be involved in staff development programs
- prepare and maintain accurate and timely accounting and financial records within your operating budget
- maintain sanitary and safe operation in accordance with Federal, State, and local health regulations including HACCP guidelines
- represent the company in a courteous and friendly manner, engage with customers, listen to feedback, and make changes to better meet needs
- solve any customer complaints or issues
