Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and management
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate in menu planning, recipe development, and inventory management
- Monitor food costs and work to minimize waste while maintaining quality
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas
- Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Maintain strong communication with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
