Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 5 years food service, hospitality or kitchen management experience
- current valid Arkansas driver’s license and clean driving record
- must have reliable source of transportation
- must be able to drive food truck
- ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and adjust vision
- willingness to work in environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases
Job Qualifications

- prior food truck experience preferred
- valid Arkansas driver’s license with clean driving record

Job Duties
- Oversees and supervises bistro team members
- trains new team members
- ensures efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food production
- performs preparation work, including washing, peeling, cutting and seeding of fruits and vegetables
- weighs and measures designated ingredients
- carries pans, kettles and trays of food to/from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
- oversees and inspects all preparation and cooking equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper operation
- distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness
- stores food following safety and rotation procedures
- uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- adheres to standards of food quality, preparation, recipes and presentation
- ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
- cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- ensures food products, presentation and plating are of high quality and timely
- serves customers efficiently and resolves complaints
- collaborates with executive chef on menu planning and inventory management
- oversees day-to-day food truck operations, including team management, food production, cash handling, guest orders, quality control and sanitation
- assists in planning and scheduling event participation
- maintains truck and equipment maintenance schedules
- maintains required records including food production and inventory
- works with marketing for photos, event schedules and social media
- relays relevant information to executive chef
- performs other duties as assigned
