Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years of relevant culinary or food and beverage experience
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited institution in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field plus 4 years relevant experience
- Ability to lead, mentor, and direct kitchen staff effectively
- Strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards
- Skilled in menu planning and culinary presentation
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 4 years experience in the culinary or food and beverage industry
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide direction for all day-to-day kitchen operations
- Lead and mentor culinary staff, setting performance standards and monitoring progress
- Develop and implement guidelines for purchasing, receiving, and storage
- Oversee menu development and ensure high quality and presentation of food
- Manage department budgets and controllable expenses
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Address guest concerns and promote exceptional customer service
