With a presence in key international destinations, Four Seasons represents the pinnacle of luxury accommodations, blending world-class service with unique, authentic local experiences.
Specifically located in Scottsdale, Arizona, this Four Seasons resort offers a blend of refined living and luxury in one of the Southwest’s most desirable destinations. Scottsdale is known for its spectacular golf courses, fine dining, upscale shopping, wellness centers, and vibrant arts scene. Its proximity to Old Town, Phoenix, and Sky Harbor International Airport provides convenient local and global access. The lifestyle here offers the perfect balance between professional achievement and personal well-being, with easy escapes to iconic natural landmarks such as Sedona’s red rocks and the Grand Canyon. This location combines the excitement of a dynamic career with a lifestyle defined by excellence and meaningful connections.
The Executive Pastry Chef role at the Four Seasons Scottsdale Resort is a leadership position that offers the opportunity to shape and elevate the resort’s pastry and bakeshop offerings. This is an exciting chance to join a world-class culinary team and contribute to the resort’s reputation as a premier luxury destination. The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for leading a team to create an artful array of desserts, artisanal breads, viennoiserie, and bespoke amenities that reflect the sophistication and innovation expected by discerning guests. This role demands creativity, precision, and a commitment to the highest standards of quality and food safety.
The successful candidate will spearhead menu development that is both seasonal and luxurious, crafting dishes that enhance every dining outlet within the resort. They will oversee day-to-day operations, including production schedules, inventory management, and workflow optimization to ensure efficiency and consistency. Beyond management, this position requires inspiring and mentoring the pastry team, helping each member to excel and contribute to a collaborative culinary environment. Partnering closely with culinary and food and beverage departments, the Executive Pastry Chef will help design unique guest experiences, supporting resort-wide events, VIP tastings, and special culinary activations.
This role requires flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment, including working weekends and holidays. It is a managerial-level position requiring dedication beyond standard hours to meet operational objectives without overtime compensation. Candidates must hold valid authorization to work in the U.S. and bring proven experience leading pastry operations in high-volume luxury hotels or resorts. A culinary or pastry degree or equivalent professional background is essential, along with mastery of plated desserts, breads, viennoiserie, chocolate artistry, and showpieces. Strong leadership and organizational skills, coupled with a passion for food excellence and safety, are critical for success.
Joining Four Seasons as an Executive Pastry Chef offers not only a vibrant, rewarding career but also the chance to work with a company that values diversity, equality, and inclusion. Four Seasons encourages applications from minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. This is truly a unique opportunity to be part of an award-winning team while advancing your career in one of the world’s leading luxury hotel companies.
