Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is an internationally renowned luxury hospitality company known for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences through genuine heart and world-class service. Founded on values that emphasize respect, collaboration, and excellence, Four Seasons has built a global reputation for delivering unique and memorable stays to its guests. The company is powered by a passionate and dedicated workforce whose mission is to create positive impressions that linger long after a guest has checked out. Four Seasons believes that the key to delivering extraordinary service lies in fostering an enriching work environment where employees feel valued and inspired to grow.
Located in the iconic Beverly Hills at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, has been a symbol of elegance and sophistication since 1928. Celebrated as a preferred address for celebrities, royalty, and the international elite, this historic property offers unparalleled access to designer shopping, gourmet dining, and breathtaking views, embodying the essence of luxury living in Los Angeles.
The Executive Pastry Chef position at Beverly Wilshire provides an exciting opportunity to lead the pastry kitchen in a prestigious, fast-paced luxury environment. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the role demands excellence, creativity, and leadership to deliver exceptional pastry and dessert offerings across all hotel outlets. The Executive Pastry Chef plays a crucial role in shaping the guest experience by ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and innovation in all pastry creations. This leadership position involves overseeing the pastry team, including training, development, recruitment, and motivation, to maintain consistent culinary excellence and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing innovative menus, managing labor costs and budgeting, selecting vendors, and maintaining compliance with all health and sanitation standards. The Executive Pastry Chef will engage closely with marketing and public relations campaigns to highlight the hotel’s culinary specialties and contribute to the brand’s prestige. Coordination of menu tastings, staff education, and ongoing communication with the Executive Chef and management team are also central to this role.
Candidates for this role are expected to have solid culinary training, preferably from a reputable cooking school or culinary institute, along with substantial leadership experience in luxury hospitality settings. Proficiency with food and beverage operations, cost control, inventory management, and point-of-sale (POS) systems is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs are highly valued.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 and access to a comprehensive benefits package. Employees at Four Seasons enjoy a vibrant work culture that encourages professional growth, recognition for excellence, and meaningful contributions within a team-oriented environment. The hotel is an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applications from diverse backgrounds including minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. This is a full-time role that requires work authorization for the location.
