Job Description

Cinepolis USA is a luxury cinema exhibitor that redefines the movie-going experience through its high-end "Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas" and "Movie House & Eatery" concepts. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Cinepolis USA operates 26 luxury and premium theaters across key states such as California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Ohio, with ambitious plans for further expansion. As a proud part of Cinepolis International, the world's largest movie theater exhibitor, the company is committed to innovation, outstanding film experiences, and top-tier hospitality across the globe.

The company places its team members at the core of its success, offering a collaborative and rewarding work environment where employees enjoy generous discounts on tickets, food, and beverages, along with recognition gifts for milestone anniversaries. Joining Cinepolis USA means becoming part of a forward-thinking team that values both customer satisfaction and employee development.

The position being offered is that of a full-time Field Manager reporting to the Regional Manager. This exempt management role demands a highly flexible schedule with an expectation of up to 50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligning with cinema business needs and peak operational periods. The Field Manager plays a critical role in delivering a first-class movie and dining experience to all guests, ensuring that every aspect from the sights and sounds to the food quality and customer service surpasses expectations.

Key responsibilities include creating a hospitality-driven atmosphere among staff and guests, managing food costs, inventory, and supply ordering in partnership with General Managers, and maintaining rigorous standards of product quality, kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling practices. This role is essential for driving business growth through operational excellence and culinary innovation, requiring a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and trend awareness in the food industry.

In addition to guest and operational responsibilities, the Field Manager oversees recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and thorough training of kitchen employees, emphasizing team development and cross-training to maximize operational efficiency and to foster internal career advancement. The role demands strong communication skills to serve as the liaison between front-of-house operations and kitchen teams, ensuring smooth flow of information and coordinated team efforts.

The work environment requires physical capabilities such as sitting, standing, walking, and lifting of light weights up to 10 pounds. While typical office noise and activity are expected, the role necessitates maintaining a calm and professional demeanor even in high-pressure situations. The company is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions effectively.

Cinepolis USA values diversity and inclusion, proudly operating as an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. The company does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability, or any legally protected characteristics, reflecting a strong commitment to fair employment practices.

This comprehensive leadership role at Cinepolis USA offers an exciting opportunity for experienced managers with a background in full-service casual dining, particularly those with knowledge of alcohol-serving facilities, to contribute to a dynamic, hospitality-centered cinema brand with a passion for excellence and innovation.
