Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • no degree required
  • five years of housekeeping supervisory experience
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness
  • availability to work days, holidays, evenings, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience managing a team
  • working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
  • knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
  • must possess a valid driver's license
  • effective leadership and communication skills
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeepers including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
  • maintain an inventory of supplies, order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed
  • monitor and control expenses and payroll while ensuring proper resources are in place
  • conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
  • drive company vehicles throughout the property
  • oversee compliance with safety regulations and material safety data sheets
