Job Description
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is a renowned global hospitality and food service company with a rich history spanning over 100 years. As a family-owned business, Delaware North operates across various sectors including sports arenas, national parks, casinos, hotels, restaurants, and retail with an unwavering commitment to delivering great guest experiences in incredible locations. One of their remarkable properties, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, is a 4-diamond resort nestled just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. Surrounded by majestic trees and granite peaks, Tenaya Lodge offers guests a unique blend of comfort, adventure, and natural beauty in one of California’s most iconic destinations. The resort includes Waybound, a nearby collection of modern cabins and cottages offering a more private and retreat-style stay with access to resort amenities. Team members at Tenaya Lodge become integral to a hospitality experience deeply inspired by the great outdoors and the spirit of Yosemite.
Delaware North is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead their housekeeping team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. This full-time leadership role offers a competitive annual salary range between $70,304 and $88,400, complemented by an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or an uncapped incentive plan tailored to sales roles. Relocation assistance and temporary housing are also available for the right candidate, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting talent from different locations.
In the Executive Housekeeper position, you will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of housekeepers to ensure the resort remains clean, sanitized, orderly, and fully prepared to welcome guests every day. This leadership role entails numerous operational and administrative duties including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and evaluation of housekeeping staff. You will maintain detailed inventories of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and distribution, and will oversee housekeeping inspections to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards. Additionally, controlling expenses, payroll, and resource allocation will be crucial parts of your responsibilities to optimize operational efficiency.
The role demands hands-on involvement and the ability to carry out housekeeping inspections and take corrective actions when necessary. A valid driver’s license is required as the Executive Housekeeper will need to drive company vehicles around the property. Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and hands-on cleaning tasks. Visual acuity must be sufficient to inspect cleanliness at a detailed level.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing a team in a housekeeping or hospitality environment and a solid understanding of cleaning tools, equipment, solvents, and safety data for chemicals used in the cleaning process. No formal degree is necessary, but previous supervisory experience and strong operational skills are essential.
Working at Delaware North means joining a global legacy committed to creating memorable guest experiences while fostering the growth and success of its team members. Employees benefit from a supportive work culture with opportunities for professional development, paid vacation, and comprehensive health benefits. The company values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, ensuring an inclusive workplace.

Join Delaware North and help shape the future of hospitality in an extraordinary setting.
