The open position of Executive Housekeeper at MCHG is a pivotal role within the hotel's operations. As the leader of the housekeeping department, the Executive Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Job Duties

  • Lead, manage, and oversee all housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff to meet high service and performance standards
  • Monitor staffing levels, productivity, and scheduling to ensure optimal departmental efficiency
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to maintain brand standards and cleanliness excellence
  • Manage departmental budget, inventory, and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate with Front Desk, Maintenance, and Management regarding room status, priorities, and special guest requests
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company procedures
  • Address guest concerns regarding housekeeping promptly, professionally, and effectively
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and best practices for the department
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
  • Report departmental performance, challenges, and successes to hotel leadership
