The role of Executive Hotel General Manager is a strategic leadership position designed to oversee one of the group's flagship luxury hotel properties. This is a fully remote position, offering a unique opportunity to lead and manage hotel operations from a distance while traveling to the property as necessary. The Executive Hotel General Manager will be responsible for driving the overall success of the property by setting strategic direction, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining the high standards associated with the brand. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in luxury hotel management, encompassing all areas including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales and marketing, and financial management.

In this role, the Executive Hotel General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in hotel management
  • At least 5 years in a General Manager role
  • Proven success in managing luxury or upscale hotels
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L management and budgeting
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as required to oversee property operations

Job Duties

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the hotel ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and addressing guest concerns promptly
  • Lead manage and motivate the hotel’s management team and staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Manage the hotel’s budget P&L and financial performance implementing cost control measures effectively
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue
  • Maintain the physical condition and aesthetic appeal of the hotel property
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations including health and safety standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests local businesses and the community
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and community functions
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to uphold brand standards
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff
