Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in hotel management
  • At least 5 years in a General Manager role
  • Proven success in managing luxury or upscale hotels
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L management and budgeting
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as required to oversee property operations

Job Duties

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the hotel ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and addressing guest concerns promptly
  • Lead manage and motivate the hotel’s management team and staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Manage the hotel’s budget P&L and financial performance implementing cost control measures effectively
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue
  • Maintain the physical condition and aesthetic appeal of the hotel property
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations including health and safety standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests local businesses and the community
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and community functions
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to uphold brand standards
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff
