Job Requirements

  • Five years as a hotel chef in a top property preferred
  • banquet and special event management experience
  • skilled in recipe creation and menu development
  • leadership experience in high-volume kitchen operations
  • ability to create and implement kitchen operational systems
  • experience managing P&L and restaurant financials
  • hands-on cooking skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • capability to manage product ordering and kitchen scheduling
  • mental and physical stamina for busy operations

Job Qualifications

  • Five years as a hotel chef in a top property preferred
  • experience as an upscale high-volume restaurant chef considered
  • strong banquet and special event experience
  • expertise in recipe creation and menu development
  • proven leadership and team mentoring skills
  • thorough understanding of restaurant accounting and P&L management
  • hands-on cooking leadership approach
  • experience in creating operational systems and processes
  • high-volume and high-profile culinary operation experience
  • track record of achieving financial results

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen operations for three meals daily and special events
  • develop and create innovative recipes and menus
  • manage banquet and high-volume restaurant functions
  • build and mentor a skilled culinary team including sous chefs and cooks
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and organizational standards
  • oversee product ordering and inventory control
  • manage scheduling and staffing for optimal kitchen performance
  • monitor and control P&L and restaurant financials
  • communicate effectively with hotel leadership and staff
