The Executive Chef role at Compass Athletics is a prestigious leadership position responsible for driving culinary excellence throughout the University of Kentucky's dining and hospitality operations. As the Executive Chef, you will lead and inspire culinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative menu offerings that meet the diverse needs of a large, dynamic campus population. This role requires overseeing menu development, maintaining rigorous food quality and presentation standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. In addition to culinary leadership, the Executive Chef has financial responsibilities including managing food and labor costs to support operational efficiency and profitability. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing guest satisfaction by crafting memorable dining experiences that reflect the Compass Group brand's commitment to great people, great service, and great results.

This long-term, high-impact role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the food and hospitality landscape at one of the nation’s most prestigious universities. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with various departments within the university and Compass Athletics to continuously innovate culinary programs that resonate with the university community. Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • Experience in high-volume hospitality operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage food and labor costs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
