Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of executive chef or kitchen manager experience
  • Experience in soul food Southern cuisine BBQ comfort food or scratch kitchens preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of food cost controls and labor management
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to work nights weekends and holidays as needed
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience managing kitchen P&L performance

Job Duties

  • Lead all back-of-house kitchen operations ensuring quality and consistency in every dish
  • Develop and execute soul food and Southern-inspired menus standardize recipes and control portions
  • Hire train and coach the kitchen team to create a positive respectful culture
  • Oversee inventory management control food costs and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety sanitation and health regulations
  • Coordinate prep daily line execution catering and special event production
