Job Requirements

  • Passion for culinary arts with creativity and strong production background
  • Ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions within company guidelines

  • Experience supervising culinary team
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Minimum education of Associate's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in food or culinary services

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • 3-5 years of Executive Chef level experience in a recognized setting, concept, or company
  • Exceptional professional communication skills
  • Strong human resource and supervisory/management skillset
  • Experience supervising a culinary team
  • Innovative, hands-on leadership approach
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing food service budgets
  • Knowledgeable in food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety compliance

Job Duties

  • Develop and grow the menu while managing and controlling food costs and offering high quality service to residents
  • Responsible for full financial oversight including budgeting and reporting
  • Provide technical training, coaching, and leadership to the production team while working side by side as needed
  • Work to obtain optimum client and customer satisfaction
  • Create a positive customer service driven environment, drive employee engagement and customer satisfaction through strong leadership
  • Integrate fully within the client's organization becoming a trusted adviser
  • Work to achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • Work to achieve high quality resident satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Meet or exceed Sodexo standards of operations
