Job Requirements

  • Requires culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of culinary experience
  • At least 2 years in a management role preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to simplify team agendas
  • Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work event-based schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Strong oral, reading, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and simplify team agendas
  • Experience or interest in Sports and Entertainment culinary environment preferred
  • Ability to work event-based schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure culinary production connects to the Executional Framework
  • Ensure proper culinary standards and techniques in food preparation, production, presentation, and service
  • Manage culinary team including chef managers and hourly staff to maintain quality food presentation
  • Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees in best practice food production techniques
  • Coach employees by creating shared understanding of goals and methods
  • Reward and recognize employees
  • Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles
  • Complete and maintain all staff records including training, shift checklists, and performance data
  • Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport
  • Interact directly with guests daily
  • Aggregate and communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends
  • Deliver food and labor targets with focus on margin improvement
  • Ensure efficient execution and delivery of daily menu culinary products
  • Maintain integrity of standard Aramark food offer and food safety
  • Comply with Operational Excellence fundamentals including waste management and labor standards
  • Understand supply chain and procurement processes ensuring authorized suppliers
  • Implement Food Framework standards
  • Ensure accuracy of food consumption estimates and requisitions
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark SAFE food and Quality Assurance standards
  • Comply with all applicable policies and regulations
