This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest culinary standards, ensuring food safety compliance, and driving efficient day-to-day execution of the kitchen’s functions. The Executive Chef will manage innovative programs such as the Night Bar Program and Dinner on the Go across multiple cafes, ensuring consistent quality, service excellence, and timely delivery during dinner service. The position demands strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, safe, and well-structured kitchen environment while controlling costs and developing a high-performing team. This role operates on a schedule from Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a flexible Monday shift dedicated to preparation for the week and support for occasional daytime events. Job Requirements

  • associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • three to five years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
  • strong background in high volume complex foodservice operations
  • hands on chef leadership experience
  • institutional or batch cooking experience preferred
  • catering experience a plus
  • knowledge of food trends cost control sanitation and presentation standards
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and general computer systems
  • servsafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • oversee daily kitchen and evening bar operations ensuring quality consistency and presentation standards
  • manage and execute the Night Bar Program and Dinner on the Go program across cafes
  • develop and execute regular and specialty menus aligned with company programs and client expectations
  • follow standardized recipes portion controls and production processes
  • complete production sheets and waste logs monitor food quality and taste finished products
  • train and develop kitchen staff on food preparation equipment use food safety and sanitation standards
  • maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment storage and work areas
  • manage inventory to control food cost while ensuring product availability
  • oversee proper utilization of leftover products within company guidelines
  • ensure compliance with federal state and local health and safety regulations
  • follow company safety policies and reporting procedures
  • provide occasional support to the PM Catering team as needed
  • participate in meetings and professional development initiatives
