Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum 5 years of culinary leadership experience
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage a culinary team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work full-time
  • At least 16 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Executive Chef or equivalent leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a culinary team
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary best practices
  • Experience in menu planning and development
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers card required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-quality food service environment

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the culinary team to deliver high-quality food service
  • Oversee all kitchen and food preparation activities including the fine-dining restaurant, Bistro, and catering services
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that meet the preferences and dietary needs of senior residents
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budgetary goals
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development
  • Collaborate with management to enhance the culinary program and resident satisfaction
