Job Requirements
- Minimum of two year culinary arts degree
- Three years of experience with one year at supervisory level or four years of Executive Chef experience
- Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) certification preferred
- Knowledge of food management principles and practices
- Ability to plan, schedule, maintain records and reports
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 45lbs
- Successful completion of Tier 1 Level Background Check Investigation
- Compliance with drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two year culinary arts degree with three years experience including one year at supervisory level or four years work experience as an Executive Chef
- Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) certification preferred
- Strong hotel, conference/convention center, and/or contract food service experience
- Professional knowledge of food management principles, practices, and procedures in multi-facility operations
- Ability to perform management functions including planning, scheduling, record maintenance, report preparation, and coordination
- Knowledge of prices, dietetics, food grades, and meal planning
- Ability to apply new methods in food service management and train employees for expert performance
Job Duties
- Advise and support club managers, chefs, and cooks in menu planning, development, cost controls, sanitation, food presentation, and employee training
- Prepare budgets for food service operations and submit for approval
- Ensure Child Development Centers food program requirements are met and reports are submitted timely
- Develop standardized recipes and food specifications
- Make decisions to address problems and establish high standards for food service operations
- Lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and heavier objects with assistance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
