Job Requirements
- Five years of experience in luxury hotel kitchen management
- Minimum three years as executive chef
- Minimum three years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-end restaurant
- Experience with hotel banquets and coordinating with sales and operations
- Formal culinary education preferred
- Experience in a union environment preferred
- Strong understanding of food cost and labor cost management
Job Qualifications
- Five years of experience in luxury hotel kitchen management
- At least three years as executive chef
- At least three years of kitchen leadership in a high-end, high-profile restaurant
- Experience with hotel banquets and working with sales and operations to execute high-end functions
- Formal culinary education preferred
- Experience in a union environment preferred
- Strong financial acumen and ability to work within food cost and labor cost guidelines
Job Duties
- Run an efficient culinary program
- Create and update menus, recipes, and SOPs in concert with leadership
- Update and transform banquet program to modern standards
- Teach and manage Sous Chefs and culinary team on all recipes and expectations
- Be a presentable and marketable figure in the hotel
