As a part of its culinary team, Brightview Senior Living is currently seeking a talented Chef who excels in creating delectable and pleasing menu items. This role offers the opportunity to plan and design specialty dishes that distinguish each dining venue and community event within the organization. The successful candidate will share their culinary expertise by inspiring, training, and coaching the culinary team, nurturing a positive team approach each day. Maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety protocols, such as HACCP, is pivotal. The Chef will oversee food storage and handling to ensure the freshest meals are delivered consistently, aligning with the organization’s commitment to quality and safety.

This position is hourly with a competitive salary range of USD 26.00 to USD 30.00 per hour. The compensation package reflects experience, qualifications, certifications, and other relevant factors. Job Requirements

  • ServSafe Certification
  • Minimum four years supervisory experience in culinary role
  • Experience in customer-oriented, high-volume dining environment
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP

Job Duties

  • Design delectable menu items that are pleasing to the pallet
  • Create specialty items that differentiate each of our Dining venues and community events

  • Keep a close eye on all food preparation including storage and handling to ensure freshness and safety protocols (HACCP) are followed
