Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior culinary leadership role
- Strong knowledge of current food trends and regional cuisines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or in a similar senior culinary management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Creative and innovative menu development capabilities
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a high-volume, upscale hospitality environment
Job Duties
- Direct and oversee all culinary operations including meal production, food quality, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
- Create and implement new menus and individual menu items reflecting current food trends
- Manage team member productivity, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Interact with guests and clients to assess satisfaction and implement improvements
- Perform general management duties including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and department management
- Recruit, interview, and train culinary staff
