Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume or banquet kitchen preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Food safety and sanitation knowledge
  • Ability to manage budgets and staff effectively

Job Duties

  • Manage the food court kitchen including performance feedback such as coaching and counseling
  • Recognize employee achievements and promote satisfaction
  • Hire quality candidates and promote teamwork
  • Oversee succession planning process
  • Manage daily kitchen operations including budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with guest service standards
  • Develop and execute menu strategies for profitability
  • Implement policies and operating procedures
  • Execute pricing initiatives and training programs
  • Enforce rules and regulations for food court staff
  • Maintain highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and product quality
  • Respond to guest complaints appropriately
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of food and beverage products, menu items, and equipment
