Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience leading high-volume/high-end kitchens
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and operational systems precisely
  • Proven record of professionalism and accountability
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage food and labor costs
  • Understanding and compliance with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as an executive chef with a minimum of 10 years
  • Excellent record of kitchen leadership
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of current cooking trends and best practices
  • Working knowledge of restaurant software such as MS Office, R365, and Aloha POS
  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related certificate preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Execute Truluck's menu at a high level, leading and teaching recipe adherence
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  • Arrange equipment purchases and repairs
  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff
  • Rectify problems arising or complaints
  • Give prepared plates the “final touch”
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Keep time and payroll records
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
