  • Experience with authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine
  • knowledge of regional Chinese cuisine
  • culinary degree preferred
  • high volume production and catering experience
  • ability to manage cost controls
  • strong technical skills in Chinese cooking methods
  • effective team leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • experience with authentic and traditional Chinese cuisine required
  • strong working knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines such as Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan
  • ability to adapt traditional techniques to high-volume production
  • strong technical foundation in wok cooking, sauce development, and traditional Chinese preparation methods
  • high volume production and catering experience
  • previous experience managing cost controls
  • desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company

Job Duties

  • Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
  • plans and creates all menus
  • purchases and manages inventory
  • rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
  • oversees preparation and execution of Chinese cuisine
  • maintains adherence to proper cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and presentation standards
  • supports development of daily menus featuring traditional and innovative dishes
