Job Requirements

  • culinary school diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality
  • 3+ years of experience managing dining services
  • experience managing budgets
  • proficiency in Microsoft office and ordering software
  • ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
  • ability to work full time
  • must be over the age of 21
  • English language proficiency

Job Duties

  • oversee kitchen and wait staff while managing budget and inventory
  • recruit and maintain kitchen staff
  • lead and inspire excellent customer service for residents
  • ensure meals are served with an appetizing and attractive presentation
  • create and maintain the schedule for the dining services team
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room
  • plan and direct all food preparation and service according to Bonaventure Senior Living standards
  • adhere to all state and federal regulations for long-term care communities
  • handle event planning for special events
  • collaborate with health services to provide dining support for residents with specific dietary needs
