Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree from a recognized college or university with emphasis in culinary arts
  • Two years supervisory experience in long term care foodservice or large quantity cookery
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to pass drug screen
  • Successful criminal background check
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards
  • Effective team leadership skills

  • Knowledge of federal, state and county food safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee overall function and production of kitchen operations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county food safety standards
  • Supervise and manage all cook staff in the main kitchen
  • Develop and implement food policies and procedures
  • Monitor food quality and portion control
  • Coordinate inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
