Job Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
  • Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests
  • Meet all training and applicable state and federal guidelines
  • Ability to work flexible scheduling
  • Commitment to maintaining resident comfort and dignity

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in manager, assistant manager, or supervisor role
  • Proficiency in kitchen sanitation and infection control practices
  • Ability to train and cross-train culinary staff
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Passion for culinary arts and innovation

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
  • Oversee all resident dining services in accordance with Heritage Senior Living policies, procedures, and state regulations
  • Menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and sanitation compliance
  • Train and mentor culinary staff
  • Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents
  • Ensure kitchen sanitation and infection control practices
  • Stay current on healthcare culinary industry trends and techniques
