Job Requirements

  • minimum of 5 years experience in relevant culinary settings
  • current state health and sanitation certification
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • valid driver’s license for applicable roles
  • CPR and First Aid certifications current or willing to obtain
  • proficiency in kitchen supervision
  • strong communication and team-building skills
  • knowledge of food ordering processes and cost control

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 5 years experience in high-end restaurants, clubs, hotels, or senior living establishments
  • experience with kitchen supervision and training
  • proficiency in advanced cooking techniques such as garde manger, baking, sauces, hot and cold food preparation
  • familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Culinary Arts degree is a plus
  • current state health and sanitation certification
  • valid driver’s license for applicable roles
  • current CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • supervise line cooks and kitchen attendants
  • support the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations
  • ensure exceptional food quality and presentation
  • manage food ordering and inventory control
  • oversee food safety and sanitation compliance
  • train and mentor kitchen staff
  • assist in controlling food and labor costs
