Levy is a leading hospitality company widely recognized for redefining the sports and entertainment hospitality experience. With a reputation as a market leader, Levy operates an extensive and diverse portfolio that includes award-winning restaurants, iconic sports and entertainment venues, zoos, theaters, cultural institutions, and convention centers. Levy has gained critical acclaim as one of the 10 most innovative companies in sports by Fast Company magazine and has been named one of the top three Best Employers for Diversity in America by Forbes. Their impressive portfolio extends to managing high-profile events such as the Super Bowl, Grammy Awards, US Open Tennis Tournament, Kentucky Derby, as well as NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, and MLS All-Star Games. Levy prides itself on fostering a dynamic workplace culture that celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion, where team members are encouraged to be their authentic selves and grow together in an environment centered on continuous learning and support.

The Executive Chef role at Levy is a critical leadership position within their partnership with American Girl at the flagship Chicago location. Levy has worked alongside American Girl for over 20 years, merging shared values to create exceptional dining experiences that inspire and engage children through play. The culinary program here features a child-focused prix fixe menu, high tea, and family-friendly brunch offerings, all designed to delight families and create memorable moments.

As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of culinary operations, from culinary team leadership and menu development to maintaining high food quality and delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role acts as the visionary for the food program and is instrumental in driving business performance through strategic planning and execution. The Executive Chef is tasked with coaching and developing the culinary team, ensuring compliance with kitchen safety and sanitation standards, managing inventory and labor, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including purchasing and finance to control costs and optimize menu strategy.

In addition to operational excellence, the Executive Chef supports business growth by engaging guests through social media and marketing initiatives and upholding Levy's high standards for recipe execution and food safety. This leadership role demands a commercially minded culinary professional who is passionate about hospitality, adept in managing budgets and administrative duties, and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire the team and enhance the overall dining atmosphere.

Levy offers a comprehensive benefits package which enhances this career opportunity, emphasizing work-life balance, wellness, and development. Their commitment to equal opportunity employment ensures fair treatment for all candidates, fostering a welcoming environment regardless of background or life experiences. This Executive Chef position offers a salary in the range of $80,000 to $85,000, reflecting Levy's dedication to attracting top culinary talent in the hospitality industry. Working at Levy means joining a family-like team where continuous growth, diversity, and innovation are at the core of daily operations, making it an ideal workplace for those who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are eager to make a meaningful impact in hospitality.
