The Executive Chef position at Sodexo Live! in PHX Airport is an exciting leadership role ideal for culinary professionals passionate about food, innovation, and team development. As the Executive Chef, you will be entrusted with key responsibilities including menu compliance, purchasing, inventory management, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting. This role requires a hands-on leader who ensures that Sodexo’s culinary standards are maintained rigorously, guaranteeing recipe adherence and food quality that consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations. You will also champion food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols, ensuring a secure and compliant kitchen environment.
Besides operational duties, this role emphasizes team leadership and coaching. The Executive Chef will have the responsibility to nurture and motivate culinary team members, inspiring them to embrace new trends and innovations in cuisine while fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Proficiency with automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems—such as Excel spreadsheets—is integral to efficiently managing resources and streamlining kitchen operations.

Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years management experience
- minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, mall food courts
- excellent mentoring and leadership skills
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain high culinary standards
- strong coaching and employee development skills
- passion for food and innovation
Job Duties
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
- ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
