Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • ServSafe certification
  • Knowledge of HAACP
  • Strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • Proficient computer and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in food service
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in culinary services including restaurants, catering, institutional food service or related fields
  • Strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor culinary teams
  • Menu planning experience with knowledge of current culinary trends
  • Proficient computer skills and strong organizational and detail-focused abilities
  • ServSafe Certified with working knowledge of HAACP
  • Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) designation is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation exceed expectations
  • Develop creative, seasonal, and diverse menus tailored to student preferences and nutritional standards
  • Supervise and train a diverse culinary team, promoting a culture of mentorship and professional growth
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and administrative staff to streamline operations and exceed client satisfaction
  • Manage food and labor costs, procurement, inventory control, and sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all Sodexo, local, and federal food safety and sanitation standards
